I created Farm Manuals Fast as a junior in high school. I recognized a problem on our farm and found a solution that could help farmers world wide. I've now been running the business for over ten years.

Farm Manuals Fast has a wealth of information on old tractors. These tractors are often donated to developing countries. We created this website to help these farmers maintain their equipment and have higher crop yields.

My love for photography began at age ten when my mother let me have her old Canon AE-1 film camera. Living on a farm the most obvious subjects to shoot were our farm animals. They are still my favorite subjects to photograph.

RAGBRAI is a weeklong bike ride across the state of Iowa. I wrote a daily column for the Daily Iowan titled Trekking with Tyler which chronicled my experiences in the ride.

LinkThin was created as a joke. Instead of taking a long URL and shortening it like a typical URL shortener - LinkThin takes a URL and expanded it into a 1,000 character long URL. It has yet to find success.

I always travel with my camera. It forces me to get off the beaten tourist paths and find unique and interesting people and places who I never would have found otherwise.

In high school I volunteered to teach fifth graders how to build computers and create websites. It was an invaluable experience and made me discovery my love for teaching.
